He has served as the chairman of his local planning board, member of his town's school committee, member of his town's board of assessors, member of his parish church's finance committee, and president of the oldest musical society in the country, the Old Stoughton Music Society.

Education:

Joe graduated from Boston College (A.B., Phi Beta Kappa) in 1974, and Boston University Law School in 1978. He is admitted to practice before all Massachusetts courts (state and federal), the United States Tax Court, and the Department of Transportation. He is a member of the American Bar Association (business law section) and the Massachusetts Bar Association (business and property law sections). He is a certified mediator in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Killman, Lauren Rivers

Lauren Rivers Killman works with individuals, families and businesses in transition to help them achieve their goals and protect their assets. She advises clients in many areas including:

Lauren believes strongly in Richardson and Tyler’s commitment to serving its community, as well as its clients. She serves on the Planning and Allocation Board of the Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging (CMAA), the largest of the twenty-three area agencies on aging in the Commonwealth, which oversees, administers and allocates grants for community-based elder support services.

Lauren joined Richardson and Tyler while still in law school as an intern through the Northeastern University Co-Op Program. She began her employment as an associate in 2002.

Education & Professional Background:

Lauren graduated from Wellesley College, cum laude, in 1998 and Northeastern University School of Law in 2002. Prior to joining Richardson and Tyler, through the co-op program at Northeastern University School of Law, Lauren interned as a clerk to Hon. Isaac Borenstein, Justice of the Superior Court, with Edwards & Angell, LLP in their corporate group and with Greater Boston Legal Services in their elder law unit.

She also ran her own successful private practice in Middleton for many years.

Irene graduated from Wheaton College (B.A., Phi Beta Kappa), and Boston University School of Law in 1989. She has practiced actively in Massachusetts's courts and agencies (state and federal), including the Massachusetts Superior and District Courts, Massachusetts Land Court, U.S. District Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, Southeastern Housing Court, and Northeastern Housing Court.
